I'm a self-taught artist who is most grateful to those gifted individuals who elected to share their knowledge and talents by writing books on colored pencil, acrylic, and abstract technique and related subjects. I was inspired by an artist whose name I wish I knew. I was drawn to her work at an art show in Chantilly, VA but couldn't identify the medium. When I learned it was colored pencil I wanted to try it myself. I don't have an art background, nor did I doodle or draw much as a child. I went through a lot of coloring books, though!
